Westwood, KS (June 11, 2010) — IRR-Residential held its annual Spring Conference in Kansas City May 17-19.

The conference agenda was centered on appraisal company best practices.  Panel discussions regarding office operations, oversight of appraisal work and recruiting & retention of quality appraisers were led and moderated by chief appraiser Tom Munizzo, IFA, DAR, CAR.  Several industry leading technology firms were on hand, presenting new and innovative products and services. Continuing discussion was prompted over lunch by a client presentation on how the industry has evolved and the new challenges the industry is facing. 

“Our affiliate offices are each headed by an experienced managing director.  Bringing them together for purposes of sharing best practices benefits our entire organization,” said Munizzo.

The conference was capped off by an Awards Banquet where the following affiliate offices received recognition:

• President’s Award – IRR-Residential Chudnow Druck Valuations, Bill Druck & Don Chudnow, SRA, Milwaukee
• Outstanding Affiliate Award – IRR-Residential Meridian Appraisals, Diane Gilbert, MAI, SRA, Tampa Bay
• Outstanding Affiliate Award – IRR-Residential Metro Real Estate Services, Don Gossman, SRA, Kansas City
• Outstanding Affiliate Award – IRR-Residential Zenith Appraisals, Larry Finn, Lakeland, FL
