Mr. Dominy has been on the Board of IRR-Residential since 2005. Mr. Dominy is Managing Director of the Integra Realty Resources – Houston office.
Mr. Dominy began his real estate career in 1982 upon graduating from Baylor University. He joined the firm of Dominy, Ford & McPherson, Inc. in 1990. Since that time, he has participated in wide ranging valuation and counseling assignments including landmark office buildings, multi-family properties, shopping centers, self-storage facilities, health care properties, senior-living facilities, right-of-way projects, subdivisions and an array of port and non-port industrial properties.
Expert witness testimony includes commissioner’s hearings, as well as various Texas county courts including Harris, Montgomery, Ft. Bend, Brazoria, Chambers, Grimes and Waller. Mr. Dominy has also qualified to testify in Federal Courts in both Houston and Sherman, Texas.
Mr. Dominy is the Past President of the Houston Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He has served as discussion leader for the LDAC and has served on regional ethics and counseling committees. Further, Mr. Dominy is an approved instructor for the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Dominy holds a MAI designation and is currently State Certified as a General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
